What are you noticing?
Merseyschool is a place for paying attention to the Liverpool City Region.
We collect observations, questions and things worth learning from, then use them as starting points for inquiry, conversation and making.
It's also an experiment in what a school rooted in a place might become.
Propose an inquiry
What do you think we should look into? An inquiry can start with a question, a curiosity, a problem, a contradiction or something about the Liverpool City Region that you’d like to understand better. It might take us into a neighbourhood, an organisation, a building, a system or an everyday part of life that rarely gets examined closely. You don’t need to know the answer, or what the inquiry should become. Bring us a good question and we’ll see where it leads.
Share an observation
What have you noticed? It might be something you pass every day, a conversation you overheard, a photograph, a sound, a small change in your neighbourhood, something that works surprisingly well, or something that doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t need to be polished or profound. We’re interested in the things people notice when they pay attention to the places around them. Send us what caught your attention, and tell us as much or as little about it as you like.
